MULTI-LEVEL CITY
Miska Laine
The final project is a result of a negotiation between several analysises and my own principles in city-building. The towers offer chances for hybrid interactions on multiple levels, and the combining walkways offer both separation between the citys two public functions, the park and the city square. Interaction between the two spaces is concentrated to a single point, with multiple entry points to both areas to create a highly accesible and highly populated central point in order to increase the feeling of a ”city pulse”. This design can be seen as counter-intuitive in corona-times, but this plague, like all the others before will not stand the test of time, but the cityscape will.
