GREEN HILLS OF GULLBERGSVASS

This project is located at the western border of Gullbergsvass where the bridge from Hisingen lands in Gothenburg inner city. The aim of the project was to explore the park environment as a natural component in the urban fabric and how to deal with the challenges of living in an urban park.

The biggest focus has been on creating a pleasant landscape and controlling the flow of rainwater so that it’s filtered through the greenery. Since the landscape is elevated and cars are led underneath, the problem of urban noises disappear and you are left with the sounds of nature.
